Remington 597VTR- M4 Handguard

Okay, so replace the stock with a collapsible one- got it. I'm going to buy a Magpul CTR in the USA- legal to bring back $100 or less in `Gun Parts'.

Anyway, has anyone replaced the handguard with an M4 style handguard- and any pics?

I emailed `Yankee Hill', and they said that their `M4' free float tubes/hanguards fit AR style only. I don't think they really knew if they would fit ot not.

Placed the 12" one on mine with no problems.

Just screwed off the old one and slapped on the new.
 
Go with the 8" retro looking handgaurd,I think that would look awsome. I went WSS today and held the gun, that hangaurd that is on there is pretty heavy in fact the whole rifle is Heavy
Put up a pic when you get er done, I would like to see it..
