Remington #6 rolling block .22 rifle. Value?

Hey guys a friend of mine has an old remington #6 rolling block rifle that's been tucked away in a closet for decades.

I checked it out last night and it is in great working order, but the bluing has seen better days and the stock definately has an worn antique-ish look to it (bore seems fine though, rifling is still relatively crisp).

Not that he's looking to sell it or anything but what do you guys figure one of these bad boys (lol) is worth nowdays?


Also, do you think it could handle modern day hotter loads like cci velocitors?

I wouldn't try shooting the hotter rounds. I have a friend that nearly ruined his 22 RB by putting in hot loads. He had to buy another junker to restore the damaged rolling block. I only shoot regular loads through my rolling block.
