Remington 600 in .243 value

Hi, I just picked up a all original Remington 600 in .243. It is in very good shape for being 50 years old, almost all the finish is intact. Just the odd mark on the stock, no cracks. bluing is decent, a little rubbed off near the muzzle. Muzzle and bore are mint. Bolt in really good shape also. Has the plastic ribs in very good shape, one tiny crack on one rib. It is missing the front sight unfortunately, but has a scope rail with a Scopechief vi 3-9 also in good shape. Anyone know the aprox value of this gun and scope, I was thinking $600-$800 based off of what other 600's have gone for. thanks, Mike

I've seen some Mohawks going around the $500 area, but i thought the original rem 600 are worth a bit more.

Yeah I'm sure a collector would want the front sight as well.

Put it the EE for $800 and go from there

I probable going to use it as my deer gun for this year atleast.

$400'ish is not un-common., $500 tops. Great rifles but do not command big $$.

A 243 is one I don't have and really have not a lot of desire for; IDKW though, calibre just never did anything for me. I would give likely well below $500 as described.
