Remington 700 5R Receiver Stripped Screw?

Hi all! I bought an R700 5R off the EE. Everything looked OK until I found this.... is this normal? Will it affect the rifle's use? Is it anything I should be concerned about? I was told it was about 80 rounds down the pipe. Mind you the barrel was crowned. So take a look at the picture and you tell me.

That's not a stripped screw, my 5R has the same

That appears to be the case, it lines up perfectly with the screw at the back of the trigger guard.

Somehow I suspect that you have never removed the barrelled action from the stock...
If you don't like the unfinished looking end of the screw, grab it in an electric drill and spin it against some emery cloth. Polish it up.

You are looking at the threaded end of the screw, quite common to look like that. Actions screws come up from the bottom.

I just checked mine. Pull it out and use some emery or a fine file and flatten it out. No biggie.

I'm an AR shooter. The 700's are relatively new territory to me. That's why I asked. Google didn't give many pictures of this section of the rifle either so big thanks for clarifying.
