Remington 700 aftermarket stocks.

Wondering where I can get a "black web" stock for my 700 SPS SS DM. Bought this gun 2 months ago with the realtree camo, and the camo seems to be wearing off quickly, Where could I find a black web stock and approx.. cost? Would it be a drop in?

or look around for a take-off HS Precision stock. the barrel channel will be larger since these are from Varmint contour barrels, but it makes no functional difference since theyre free-floated anyway.

the black webbing is just a paintjob on (usually) fiberglass stocks.

Don't order from Robertson Composites, they are too busy as it is!

Id order direct from McMillan or check out Wildcat stocks both are excellent

Ian, you need to promote your hunting stocks a bit more- I seem to remember a pic of a really nice one a while back... Unless you're too busy that is!

Sometimes they have a bunch of surplus and being it a Model 700 they usually have the most of them . You don't get the custom colors but can pick up a solid black and have it shipped out pretty quick. Check out the "specials" on the website they have a few ready to ship out today if a guy wanted.

Take a look at Manners stocks. These are very stiff stocks, and way lighter than McMillans.
Either way, you should expect to spend around 600$+ for such good stocks. (Well I don't know about all their stocks, but for A5, A3 and stock like that, expect to pay about the same price you paid your whole rifle )

If you want to stay on the budget side, take a look at Bell & Carlson stocks. You can have a nice stock for around 200$, and they are good for the price.
