I have a Remington 700 Bdl SS that I've owned for about 12 years. It's stock except for a Boyds laminate stock. Anyhow, this rifle has never shot very well with medium to heavy bullet(130-150 gr). It shoots 90gr Sierra's great, though. I've kinda neglected it as my deer rifle because of this, but it's timeto get it to shoot. The accuracy got better when I put the new stock on and glass bedded it, but it's still not what I want. What would it cost to rebarrel this rifle, and where would I buy a barrel and have it installed? I live near Edmonton. I've always had trouble with copper fouling in this barrel that has proven very difficult to remove. It seems to have machining marks about an inch from the muzzle that traps copper, and I think this may be where the problems are coming from. What should I do?
