Hey folks.

Im starting to pack my own. I've got Hornandy 75gr Vmax and 55gr Nosler ballistic tips. The powder that I have is Varget, IMR 4350 and H4350. The gun was made in 2005 as per the CZ etching on the barrel. Im pretty sure it 9 1/8" twist. I've just free floated the barrel and epoxied the recoil lug. The gun is absolutely stock except for a little trigger work I had done to it about two years ago. I havent shot it since the work that has been recently done. The barrel was worn at the points of contact on the stock.. incredibly shiny.. Looking for a recipe for any loads that have been good for this same setup.. Wanna use it for some coyote shooting. Oh and I have a 4.5 to 18 x 40 bushnell on top.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Cheers

Varget for the 55s and H-4350 with the 75 vmax for the temperature stability. Load data can be found on the hodgdon site. So start low work up and let your rifle decide what it likes.

I have consistently achieved the best velocity and accuracy with IMR 4350 and 75-90 gn bullets. I personally use 80 gnrs and IMR 4350. 80s always seem to give the best velocity per grn of bullet weight in my 243s. I also used to use 90s a lot but went back to 80s.

W-W cases, 80 gn bulk Win bullets, IMR 4350 and CCI200s and bullets .005-.010 off the lands...........powder charges vary by the rifle but this has always produced very good accuracy and velocity.
