Remington 700 BDL Bottom Metal Kit?

Geez, I searched high and low for the kit and cannot find it anywhere in Canada. I want the kit with the hinge floorplate. Tell me, can this be ordered from the states, they have it there? Thanks!
 
Western Gun Parts in Edmonton should be able to help you... possibly do a want ad on CGN's EE. There are lots of them around. 700 BDL bottom metal (long or short action) with magazine box and spring and follower. State caliber wanted. .223 is different than .308 is different than 30-06 is different than magnum.
 
I’d try a want to buy ad in the EE. They are harder to find than they used to be though. Was a time when many people were changing 700 builds over to lets call them tactical bottom metal and detachable mags and there were lots around. Things changed a bit and many are building even their hunting rifles on custom Rem clone actions and they pretty much always come without bottom metal. The BDL floor plates and related hardware was suddenly back in demand and worth something again.
 
Are you wanting to go from a removable magazine to a floorplate? Because it may not be possible. If it was factory removable mag, you won’t be able to go floorplate without a lot of work.

The stock hasn't been purchased, it will be for a hinge floorplate. Thanks for the tip!
