Remington 700 BDL Magazine Question??

I was looking in the New 2008 Wholesale Sports Hunting Catalogue and they advertise a magazine for the 700 BDL for $40.99.

Can you just put them in any existing 700 BDL, or do you have to have a BDL that is already converted to use magazines? If they go in BDL's what is required to convert my BDL to mags?

I think they mean for the detachable mag.700 but you can convert a pre mag.700 also.

Meant for 700's that were equipped with Detachable mag (DM). I've converted a regular 700 to DM, but requires the specific DM trigger guard which is hard to get and about $100. Required releaving the mag area in the stock slightly and milling area for the release on both sides, but pretty easy overall. This was on a .338 I had. I really wouldnt bother doing it agian to be honest.
