Remington 700 DBM Conversion

Hey Everyone,

I have decided to persue buying a Remington 700 SPS varmint as they are available in a lefty. I was wondering though is it possible to convert it to a Detatchable Box Mag, instead of the hinged floor plate? I have a Winchester Model 70 right now that has a floor plate and I would much prefer the DBM. I am not oppossed to changing the stock along the way either as the stock one does not look to be the best.

I don't know if it exists now, but there used to be the Quick Clip that you could install.

Yep, Kwik Klip, I've converted both long and short action Model 700's with them and not had any problems. Very simple. Just takes a few minutes.
