Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone knows for a kit that is available here in Canada to convert a hinged floor plate rifle to DBM. The rifle is a SPS Varmint in 22-250. Will it feed from a 308 magazine? Thanks for any help.

hmmm , might be hard because of the cut out that rem has on there stocks for DM. Dave at Jennings outdoors in pritchard B.C might be your best bet.

Google Kwik-Klip available in Canada...Don't have to modify the stock and I think it will feed 22-250...
Boss Hogg have them here,he is a CGN dealer.

the quick clip system works, but isnt my favorite. I ordered a trigger guard from a dealer as well a a mag, the only modifying i had to do to the stock was grind away a notch where you can squeeze the mag release. I didnt want to carve up my wood stock so i also changed to a synthetic stock. trigger guard was 60$, mag was about 50$ and the stock was 110$. i would show you a picture but i sold the rifle.

If you could do a nice job this is probably the way to go. the qwick clips are kinda cheap. Again Dave at jennings can get a factory DM for you

I put an HS precision system in my BDL 22-250. Have 4's and a 10 round mags for it. Have to load the 10 rounders near the front for them to feed %100, 4 rounders can be loaded wherever.
Have another one in a SPSss 270wsm, the small mag only holds 2, but the big mag holds 7.

My only complaint with HS is the release button is a little small for gloves, but I see they make a GenII set, so maybe they addressed that. Not a cheap way to go, factory DM set-up and cutting the stock would be the cheapest.

I have a couple LongAction Kwik Klip set-ups too. They are ok for non-magnums, and a little touchy for belted cases. I have LA 4 & 10 rounders for them, but not sure what they make in short action.

Hard to beat the factory set-up, just no large magazines.

I ordered the floorplate trigger and Mag For the stainles BDL short action for my wifes lss Mountain rifle. It pleases the little lady because she found it awkword top loading the Mag and I counn't convince she was trying to hard. I notched and refinished the stock and youwould think it was factory. Western gun parts supplied the parts.
I have a short stanless trigger guard.florrplate & follower now avaiable.Have not listed it but pm me and maybe we can make a deal.
