I have a Remington 700, stainless synthetic DM, from what I can gather it was called the "enhanced" as the receiver is engraved.

I can't find much information on this model online, hope you guys can help out.

Looking for an approximate value.

Thanks in advance.

sounds like a 700 BDL DM SS

Plastic tupperware stock? Does it have the Jlock bolt lock/wart?

Probably fetch $600-700 these days, maybe a bit less if Jlock

Thanks for the input, I'm not shocked the "scroll" work dosn't add any value. It is a neat feature, the only 700 I have seen like this. The stock does leave a bit to be desired. Must have been a pretty short run on these rifles?

2000 to around 2006 production. If it has Jlock, you can knock $100 off the value

You don't need to replace it. Just leave it alone.
Pretty soon you'll need a discount for a trigger tech replacing the trigger. And a McMillan replacing the stock. Heck why don't I knock off a bit more for a new barrel. Might as well pay you guys to take my j-lock lvsf tack drivers...
Cheap-skates!:dancingbanana:

I have owned one of these rifles in a .30-06 since about 2003. It was my first official hunting rifle that belonged to me at age 15. The plastic stock leaves something to be desired, but it seems to be tough and has weathered the elements of hunting fields and bush for the past 16 years. The rifle has always been accurate and I really like the detachable magazine (I detest the hinge plate of most 700's). It is not my most accurate/fanciest/prettiest, etc. rifle, but it's on my never-sell list as it was bought for me by my father when I was younger and it holds that sentimental value. It has put plenty of meat in the freezer for me.

The J Lock has TERRIBLE firing pin speed time as the coil spring is all BOUND up inside the bolt - The WORST thing Remmy ever designed next to a Model 770 rifle :sok2 lol :p RJ

That's a non issue. Whether the spring rides against the firing pin, or against the bolt body, it does its purpose providing force and quick lock time.

I tend to agree!!
That garbage needs to be replaced with a Gre-Tan unit ASAP!!

When buying a used Remington, I would definitely offer $100-$150 less for a rifle with the “J” lock.
