Somewhere out there is an M700 7 SAUM with a soldered J lock I took care of almost a decade and a half ago. Or if that ever becomes a legal matter so I’ve heard has been done to prevent it ever drifting on. Better yet buy Winchesters, Kimbers, and Rugers.

You don't need to replace it. Just leave it alone.
Pretty soon you'll need a discount for a trigger tech replacing the trigger. And a McMillan replacing the stock. Heck why don't I knock off a bit more for a new barrel. Might as well pay you guys to take my j-lock lvsf tack drivers...
