Remington 700 LVSF picture up!! Finally

Just brought home a Remington 700 LVSF in .223 rem. Couldn't pass it up. Asking price was $1089.99, got it for $799.99!!.I thought it was a good deal anyway... For now I mounted a Tasco Target/Varmint 2.5-10x42 mil-dot, weaver bases and weaver grand slam rings.

Who here has one/shot one, and what kinds of accuracy are you guys getting?

I've got one in 17 Rem. My main walking coyote rifle.

Shoots the 25 Bergers extremely well.

Not sure why Remington discontinued it.

Remington likes to F-up alot of nice Model 700's in excellent chamberings...it's like their "thing".

Ahhh, the LVSF - a great little rifle too bad they replaced it with the model 7 predator. Only beef I had with that rifle was the blind mag - I had mine inletted for a floorplate. Nice choice of rifle.

i wore my barrel out in mine. i got mine when they first came out, shot mostly 50 or 52gr bullets with varget or benchmark powder.

Here is mine in a .223 as well. Just finished it up. I put a half a dozen rounds down it just after I bought and before I swapped out the stock and it was grouping just under an inch with the cheap Winchester rounds in the white box.

I had one in 223 Rem, shot about 3/4-1" average for 5 shots @ 100m with 55gr Nosler BT

Mine shoots 3 into under .5" with Winchester whitebox 45gr. Actually .429" to be exact. haven't even bothered to work up a load for it.
