I have a Remington 700 30-06 with a hinged floorplate. I can put one round in and it feels normally. BUT if i try and put two rounds in even, it won't feed and they will both just jam the gun up until i release them from the floorplate. If I put one round in and push it down into the magazine, it'll cling onto the right side of the magazine, and the next round will automatically want to go to the left. Either I'm crazy or something's wrong...i've tried loading from many angles.

Take the follower or whatever you call it off the spring, polish it up, and check for burrs in around the housing. Also the follower may be bent a bit , and lastly check to see that the spring is installed proper, and in good condition. Best I can think off without seeing it. You should be able to feed right from the mag , and the follower should be flush and not catch when no rounds are in the gun. Oh one other thing maybe, check the action bolts, I think the remmy has 3.
