I've been looking but I can't find te answer. Can someone please tell me the difference between the Remington 700 LRT and the 700 SPS Tactical other than the price???

If you are meaning the "LTR" and the SPS Tactical, there are several differences.
The LTR has a fiberglass stock made by HS Precision , a fluted barrel (big deal) and a black phosphated finish on the metal parts ( rough finish better grip)
The SPS has a crappy tupperware stock made by Hogue, a non fluted barrel ( a plus in my books) and a matte blue finish. ( smooth and black in color)
The actions, triggers and quality of workmanship is the same.
Both by the way are at this time non exportable from the US due to a new stupid rule of the week from the Dept of State.

WSS has several of SPS Tacs now: both in .223 and .308...
my SPS Tac does 0.3MOA up to 300m(had no chance to shot feather) with White Box Winchester 45gr....
with 1:9 HAS TO BE BETTER WITH HEAVIER BULLETS, BUT VERY GOOD WITH 45gr :))))

quite a few differences:
in .308

LTR 20" bbl 1:12 twist
SPS 24" bbl 1:10 twist

Heavy barrel vs non
HS precision stock vs molded composite

Biggest differences are the barrel and stock

I'm referring here though to the basic SPS.

I'd compare the LTR to the SPS tactical which rick (ATR) outlines in greater detail.

I have the LTR and love it to death

I know about the tactical, i'm referring to the regular sps like I said in the post. I know the tactical has the heavy barrel thats why i left it to Rick to outline

you see some people don't read entire posts ;)
