Remington 700 rifles.......

I took the Remington 700 7x57 out yesterday to get rid of some old handloaded ammo from last year. I shot 10 rounds of 140 Partition's into a one inch ragged hole at 100 yards. I shot another three unidentified rounds into 1&1/4 inch. This is the rifle I gave to my son this year when he passed his CORE program and got his hunting license. I got home and showed him the target and he said,'that's pretty good, was that my gun"???
He shoots this rifle into an inch at 100 yds, someday I know he will eventually outshoot me.

Would love to have one to go with mine in 6.5x55mm....

Actually it's a Mountain Rifle with a BDL stock. (cuz it was heavier)

I sold a Brno 600 (with the pop-up peep sight) 7X57 to a pal of mine who gave it to his son. That kid is shooting tighter than MOA at 300 yards!!?? Think maybe I should of held onto that one.
