You have a .243 so that is a short action so S/A is what you need. Varmint barrel contour should be OK for the SPS or pretty much most aftermarket barrel you want to have later on but double check on this - it is the only thing that may be an issue. Inletted for remy's BDL floorplate - you may want to look at BC Tactical or V-Bull for example detachable magazine system but the BDL will match the SPS. I bipod stud up from for guess what - yep, attaching a bipod. The flush cups allow you to install those little doohikies that further allow you to attach a sling. Pillars - for action screws so that have something to bite into rather than screwing up the fiber glass. Color is molded in not painted on - that is good. Sniper fill adds weight - good if shooting prone/bench not so good if lugging around. McMillan A5 is a very good stock and should do you just fine.

There have been two mcmillan stocks, in the last week, for sale in the ee that would work for your rifle. I believe one was on a4 and the other an a5 with atrs bottom metal. This may be a cheaper and less hassle free method of obtaining what you want. I hear the wait for a mcmillan stock is quite lengthy as well, measured in months.

I pm`d all the ones in the EE one was priced way to high and other guy has a 0 rateing but we all started at zero at some point.. I will just get his info like a pal or Dl#

Just bench shooting... and maybe off the hood of the truck for yotes thats it.
