Remington 700 SPS Tactical...Short action?

Im pretty sure its short action but want to be sure...Am I right? Also saw a stock\bottom metal with mag taken off a Remmy 700 DM for sale in the EE. Can i install them on my SPS tactical?? VERY new to Remington 700s. CHEERS Wes

The SPS tactical is built on the short action. Just be sure that the parts you want to purchase are also off of a short action. You may need to make the barrel channel larger to fit your SPS tactical, and it may take a bit of fitting to get the DM magazine to fit your action properly, because your action has feed rails, while the DM actions do not.

I replaced the BDL with DM with no problems ....
