Remington 700 SPS Tactical

I won't argue that the 700P and LTR's aren't worth the price, however a 700 SPS Tactical, while not as nice is almost half the price at around $650 or so.
HS take off stocks come up for sale from time to time and seem to cost anywhere from $200 to $300 or so, you'd still be well below the price of a 700P, LTR or XCR.

would it be a pain in the ass buying it from a US shop? would I have to have a gun shop locally order it for me? sorry for the stupid question but trying to learn.

well I read up about it earlier today and it's a PITA if you want it quick as you need a 'sponsor' here and in the US to transfer to weapon over.

I'll just shop around locally I guess.

I was at wholesale sports earlier today. Rem 700 SPS Tactical .223 was $1200. Call them up, they're pretty good. Not sure about all the stores, but the one in calgary definetely had one up on the shelf

no panic, bros....WSS dosn`t have any of SPS Tacticals right now....and the price is gonna be 599+tax ....they have 4 on order....nobody konws when guns will come

ive had one of these on order from epps for 4 months, originally quoted 3-4 weeks max, lots of different excuses as to why its not here yet.I even prepaid for it!!! Very unhappy with epps responses, too bad, they are great guns
