Question for you Remington 700 short action SPS Varmint rifle owners, regarding 'long' loaded handloads.
What is the maximum cartridge overall length, this short action Remington can handle in .308 Winchester? I am hoping for at least 2.8 inches OAL.
I may buy one of these in the future, but I wish to know how long I can load my handloads to, and still have it function as a repeater, from it's internal magazine.
