I recently traded for a gen 1 700 ti, it has the original stock and I’d like to change it to either a wild cat or greyboe outlander. Just wondering if anyone has experience with both stocks and has a preference? I’m open to other options as well, I’d like to keep the weight reasonable and price under $1000. I will also be adding a dbm to it as well.

Thanks for any input

Appreciate all the interest for the original stock. Unfortunately I won’t be selling it for a little bit.

Wildcat by a country mile. Greyboe is basically a Tupperware version of a mcmillan and will weigh a ton.

Wildcat for sure. I did one no regrets. If you want it for next hunting season, get in soon he is busy. There is a American Precision Arms bottom metal on EE its nice as the trigger gaurd is the mag release. MDT 3 round mags fit flush and snug, no rattle.

Good to know. Yea I grabbed the atrs one on there because the precision one didn’t specify if it was LA or not. Hopefully the atrs works out for this purpose.

I've used all three of those stocks. All three are good stocks.

Currently have a Greyboe Outlander on a 700 6CM. It's a heavier stock, but the whole rifle is supposed to be heavier with a 24" sporter contour. I like that stock a lot for what I needed in a rifle. The Wildcat would be the best choice for a lighter weight rifle.

Also use a TI take off on a faux TI in 257 Roberts. I like that stock as well.
