Hey guys!
So I'm pretty new to target practice but so far I'm having a blast. I currently own a Remington 700 SPS Varmint with a Weaver Kaspa 4-16x 44mm Side Focus scope in .223. I plan to start reloading the ammo myself eventually to get some tight groupings at 100 to 200 yards.
I have no intention to put a huge amount of money on my rifle right now, but if I continue to improve and I have been improving quite a bit, my buddy suggested that I should upgrade it once I feel like I've reached the maximum of my equipment's potential. He said that I should upgrade the stock and do a bedding job, then replace the trigger and then the scope which is a budget scope for now obviously.
I'm having a great time with this rifle and I'm quite fond of the AICS chassis system, so I was thinking of dropping that in eventually... Anyway, that's enough for now, I was just wondering if I could get some feedback about what you guys think about these suggestions. Any suggestion of your own? Any additional info I should provide?
Cheers.
