So wife goes up to gun counter while i'm picking up reloading equipment and tells the guys she wants a deer rifle. (never mentioned to me she wanted to deer hunt  )

After awhile she came to the conclusion that only a Remington 700 SPS fit her properly, most rifles she was looking at the action not over the action when aiming.

She never looked at auto loaders but mentioned to me later that she would rather an autoloader. So question is, does anyone know if the 750 has the same shooters profile as the 700? or do we need to do the search all over again for a proper fit?

I want to pick her up one for xmas if they are the same. if not we will wait.

OK. So here comes the guy out of left field with the answer to a question that no one asked. Having just bought a rifle for the wife I hope this info is of some use to you. By the way you describe your wife's experience it would seem a lot like the time my wife went up to the gun counter for the first time (with a lot of encouragement from myself) and tried a few different firearms.
Most of the rifles fit exactly as you are describing. Now the one thing to consider is that even if the SPS seems to fit it may not work once you put a scope on it. The eye relief may be way out there. Unless she is unusually tall you will find her head will not be near enough to the action to properly mount a scope (her head being too far from the eye piece). My wife is 5'8" and I had to move her scope way back so that when she shouldered it naturally she could see through the scope. The scope was a Nikkon Prostaff with 4" of eye relief and it was mounted on a youth stock. I bought it especially to help fit her. Therefore I would try looking at the Savage Lady hunter and the Browning Micro Hunter in a short action. The proper length of pull will help with the felt recoil. And the short action will give you more options for moving the scope back if need be.
I made the mistake of buying a Savage Axis (youth) which has a long action even though it is a 7mm-08. This made it more difficult to achieve proper eye relief.

Hope this helps. G
