Hey All,

I currently have a bone stock Remington 700 XCR II 30-06, I am looking at upgrading the trigger and I am looking at the below

1.) Geissele Super 700 Trigger

2.) Timney Remington 700 Elite Hunter Trigger

3.) Triggertech Rem 700 Special Trigger

The riffle is primarily used for hunting, and looking to see what people use and how they like it.

Swapped out the XMark Trigger on my 700 Mntn SS 30-06 with a Trigger Tech Primary. Not sure what it was set to, I just backed it off a touch. I didn't need or want all the added features of models above the Primary on a hunting rig. I'm happy enough with the cost-to-performance ratio that I'll put one in my current build in progress.

I'll concur w/ the others-Trigger Tech Primary for a hunting rifle.

The Geissele Super 700 2 stage trigger group does NOT have adjustability.

BixNAndy Tac Sports in single stage or 2 stage are awesome triggers.

Timney should not be in anybodies vocabulary for numerous reasons.

I've got 2 rem 700's with aftermarket triggers. One with a trigger tech and a timney on the other. I have another 700 with the factory trigger reworked by Dennis Sorenson.
Had to send back the first trigger tech as the bolt wouldn't #### while cycling. Sent it to them and they replaced it with one that functioned properly. No complaints.
They're all nice improvements over the factory...

Whats YOUR problem's with the Timney's Dan if i may Ask ? :) RJ

I agree with others on Trigger Tech. All my M700 hunting rifles have one, mostly the primary. I do have a timney and geisele and prefer TT. YMMV.

Trigger Tech all the way, I have had most of the others. Primary or the Special depending on how low you wanna set the weight, personally I run the special but my buddies have the primary and love them if you wanna slightly "heavier" trigger. would like to try the two stage but i think that would get expensive and lead to me wanting to change all my triggers over lol

Mine has a trigger tech, and a better stock. Great accurate lightweight rifle.
