I just put deposit on my new rifle and I cant seem to find any details on it from te web????

NEW Remington 700 XCR in 308 (marked TACTICAL).

The stock is new and has a treated SS fluted bbl? Anyone have the specs?

Last time I check the Ellwood Epps website, they had one left in .308WIN in stock. I pick up one in .223rem. Still doing some load testing so see what shoots the best load!!!:pirate:

I looked at one yesterday. The finish on the steel looks fantastic, but the stock felt flimsy at the forend and didn't fit well with the barrel.
 
i like the looks of the XCR .

im trying to get into long range shooting. i need to ask why not buy the 700 police?

Theb looks are good, the triggerr is new, as is the finish. The stock is also a factor but I agree that it may seem slim as compared to the Police model. besides .. I dont need any more black guns :)
