Remington 700 ?

I have several 700's but find myself scratching my head on this topic. I am looking at buying a 700 with the Tupperware stock and factory detachable magazine. The stock will be repurposed as a door stop and I will be bedding the barrelled action into a laminate stock. Are the cutouts on the action of the detachable mag rem 700 the same as the standard with the floor plate and all that's required are swapping stock and adding a floor plate from a BDL Remington?

No...

The factory 700 with the factory detachable magazine will not work with the BDL bottom metal as the action is altered at the factory to work with that detachable magazine.

And you can’t go back to floorplate dbl if the action was cut for the factor dbm, it won’t feed.
