I am considering buying this rifle. Just wanted some input on quality and price as I am mostly a shotgun guy.
The rifle is a supposedly rare remington 700 "b" series Mountain Rifle , Factory with deluxe english Stock , jeweled Bolt , Action is smooth , chambered in 30-06 I would give it a 90% Comes with Redfield Tracker 3X9 Scope , Weaver base and rings. He is asking $400... I was told the "mountain rifle" part just means its lighter.
Let me know what you think!
Thanks

Unfortunatly I don't have any pics at this point. If I buy it I will post some. It sounds like its a pretty good deal! does anyone know if the 30-06 is blind mag or detachable?

Thats strange supercub because i am going to pick it up in the morning and you live on the other side of the country

He probably means English = straight comb.

'English' refers to a straight grip.

If the stock is not a 'Monte Carlo' the comb is straight but I don't think it should be referred to as 'English'.

And straight and no cheek piece is 'classic'.

Hopefully a picture will be posted.

I thought that was only for shotguns - live and learn.
