Remington 700P 300 win mag DBM?

I'm interested in a PTG DBM for my Remington 700P 300 win mag but which one? They have 10 different models!

Well, it depends really on you. Most of their LA bottom metal is for the M5 style magazine cut which is going to require inletting of the stock. They also offer 3 different magazine lengths in the bottom metal 3.715" (easy to find AICS pattern magazines) 3.775"(Harder to find only Accurate magazines offers magazines in this length) and 3.850" (CIP) which is the longest length magazine and will require cutting the feed ramp to make work on a Remington 700. The only BDL direct drop in the kit they offer requires the use of magazine that is made by ATI but modified by PTG. There are other styles of magazines out there that are drop in such as Quick Clip, and a few other styles. If you are looking for a drop in magazine conversion with minimal work a chassis may be worthwhile to look into.

Maybe it's better to stick with the original magazine. And I really like the stock.
