Remington 700P

No, but, you can get a 700VSF or if you want to spend half the money of the M24, you can get a 40XB-KS or find a regular 700 left handed and have it custom built the way you want.

Any left handed 700 action can be a good start for a project. The M-24 is very very very expensive and almost impossible to get in Canada. One of my friend is a rep. for Remington LE and he told me that. From what he says, it would cost more, admitting than you can get one, than having a custom 700 built from any gunsmith. Also, it would be built for you with all the goodies you want.

A M24 is nothing more than a trued Rem 700 action (they want you to believe it is different but it's bull...., an HS-Precision stock and a very good barrel... He even told me that a 40-XB action is not better than any 700...
The only benefit you would get by buying a 40-XB is choosing the single shot model. It can't be bought other than in the Custom Shop...

Many thanks my friend. This has been bery helpful and confirms what I was thinking. It is great the amount of information you can get on CGN.

If anyone has a left-handed Remington 700 Short Action they might want to part with, you should PM me.
