Remington 721 extractor

Having extraction issues with a 721 300 H&H. Can someone recommend a guy who could have a look at the bolt and get it back to 100%? Spoke on the phone this afternoon with Gary Flach who is busy moving shops. Reliable Gun is not able to do it either.
 
The predecessor extractors (721/722) are NOT interchangeable w/ riveted 700 extractors.

Measure the length of the 721 bolt recoil lugs & use a 700 L/A .532" face bolt w/ the same lug length.

If all else fails,have a pinned M16 extractor fit to the 721 bolt.
 
I believe some smiths have machined the bolt face to accept the riveted 700 extractor. Keep trying... or buy a 700 bolt... forget about alternate extractors...
 
A friend had a 722 based precision rifle which developed major extractor problems. Replaced the bolt with one purchased from Big Horn Sales.
