Remington 7400/750

This maybe a stupid question but, here it goes anyway.

I am looking at selling my 7400 and updating to a 750.

But what I need to know is can I keep my spare clips from the 7400 and use them in the new 750? Assuming of course that I get another short action (.308)

The 7600 mags will work in a a 7400, but are different. The 7400 mag has the "last shot hold open" feature while the pump mags don't.

I am looking at selling my 7400 and updating to a 750.

The 750 has been reported to be problematic the same as the 742/740/7400. Why not go to a 7600 to avoid all that?

to be honest I do have a 760 in .270 I have shot 2 elk with it. I prefer the semi-auto, I have never had a problem with it jamming or anything like that, but I do keep it really clean. So maybe with the 760 and 7400 I have the best of both worlds?!
