NO ! I agree with Gooda, mine are accurate and reliable. I would like to see Remington trim a little weight off them or offer a true short action reciever. Just last Tues. I shot a huge bodied buck(poor antlers) with my 7400 at 163 yds. I hit exactly where I amed it usually does if I do my part.
