Anyone know whether the 742 barrels are interchangable with the 7400? I have been offered a 742 carbine barrel and was thinking of changing my 7400 with a 22" barrel in to a carbine. Both are 30-06. Any info?
Not the same question, but the barrels of Remington pump guns will interchange within the same cartridge family but only 760's with 760's and 7600's with 7600's. A 760 is different from a 7600.
