Remington 750 with Knoxx stock

I did some searching online and found that the Knoxx Spec-ops stock for the Remington 870 20Ga fits the 7400, 750 family of firearms due to the shared receiver... but I couldn't find a picture of one anywhere...

So I took my own:

I need to buy a new one now... I'm not leaving the shotgun like that :)

My only concern is getting a scope in the face from the recoil reducing function of the stock... I'm going to be very cautious the first time I shoot it...

This might belong in the Hunting forum... but I figure that rifle is "black" enough now :)

It could. With the original stock I could produce 1" groups at 100m, so I'm also going to verify the accuracy hasn't been affected.

I not sure if I'll leave it like that for hunting season... some of the "more experienced" guys may frown on it. :rolleyes:

I'm really more concerned about the scope in the eye socket than the cycling of the gun. :)

The stock allows for quite a bit of rearward movement that is sprung. On the shotty, bird shot hardly moves it, but slugs move it enough that you can feel the spring snap back. If that movement is greater than the eye relief of the scope... ouch.

We'll see... I post a pick of the black eye... or the 1" group if all goes well. :)
 
Have you considered a stock adapter without the rearward movement? Interesting, I thought that the Remington autoloaders had some operating components behind the receiver. I guess not.

If your 750 is in .308 or .30-06, I strongly suggest you go troll the Main Battle Rifle forum about your new non-restricted semi-auto alternative to the M-14
 
Sweet,looks good :D - I had the axiom stock on a .223 and a .308 - very little recoil in both cals and no i didnt get scope bite from either rifles.
 
It shot like crap. I hate the stock on the rifle. I'm a little surprised considering how much I love it on the shotgun.

I was lucky to get 4" groups at 100 yards.

The only thing it did well was take up the recoil... but what's the point if I can't hit what I'm aiming at.

The rifle movement was not enough to hit me in the face, and I did have one failure to feed. I have NEVER had a FTF with this rifle...

So, I can officially recommend NOT putting this stock on a Remi 750... unless "cool" is more important that accuracy.
