Hey folks. I'm looking for advice from anyone with a scoped rem7600. I currently have high look-thru mounts. They have an old "clamp over" style ring that is incredibly fruistrating as it turns the scope when tightening screws. Once I got my scope on (bushnell 3200 elite) I ran out of windage.

Basically I want to know exactly what mounts you guys are using. I don't care if it's a look-thru or not. Thanks guys.

Weaver one piece base with Weaver see-thru rings with Bushnell 3200.
Once you mount a few hundred scopes with weaver rings, you get used to off-setting the reticle so it pulls in straight when you tighten the ring screws.:)

I have 1 with a Leupold 1 piece base and their rings and 1 with a Weaver base and Burris Z-rings.Both work good. I personally don't care for the see-through rings as I have to lift my head to see through the scope, making a proper cheek weld impossible. Bac4

I recently went from kwik-site mounts to leupold one piece base and standard rings on my rem 7600. So far, I feel that I have a better cheek weld then before but I will have to visit my local gun range in May to find out the effects on accuracy.

I found the Leupold 1pc steel base with steel rings to be a bit heavy. My rifle is a carbine, so I wanted to keep it as light as possible.
