Remington 7600 Peep sights

Seems like some XS products are harder to find these days in Canada for some reason but you could also get a Williams peep for your 7600 that will mount on the scope rail holes. The Williams gives you the option of using different sized apertures or removing them for the "ghost" effect.
Well I contacted Ellwood Epps and here comes the pain;
-$180.00 + taxes for the models that Ellwood would import.
-Estimated delivery timeframe may exceed 10-12 weeks from date of order.
-It would cost them another $50 (or more) for them to install and that would require me to ship the gun and pay for both ways.
Overall it would cost a lot and 3-4 months (if I am lucky).

I obtained my XS scout scope mount from Brownell's last fall.
William makes a couple that will work.
The WGS is fitted to the top of the receiver attached to the scope base holes. This one is OK. The FP is fitted to two holes that need to be drilled on the side of the receiver. It is micrometer adjusted, sturdier and a far better sight than the WGS. I've used both.
