Congrats on the new rifle. The 7600 Synthetic Carbine in .35 Whelen is a strange one. It is really not rare at all if you were in Europe in fact quite common and remington makes a lot of them for export to France. The walnut not so much
The rare part is when some fall out of these runs and end up in the US and canada for sale.
I picked up a walnut version from epps a few years back the exact same way you did. Six arrived in an order and were gone in a day or so.Might have been 2006
Why remington will not allow some of the export runs to be made for canada and the US is beyond me since they sure would sell a few.
