Remington 7600, why the negatives?

For those complaining about the trigger...just instal a Timney 870 trigger kit into your 760/7600 and it cleans it up real nice! I've also installed an over travel screw thru the rear of the trigger guard on one of my 30-06s. The 35 Whelen rifle and carbine will get the same treatment shortly!

I second this upgrade of the Timney kit. Easy to install and breaks pretty clean. Not quite Sako like , but a HUGE improvement over factory. I did this mod on my 35 Whelen Carbine.....

Why the hate for the 750? I have one, runs flawlessly. Other guys thay have them say the samething. I have been trying to sell mine on the EE for months at a good price with basically no interest. Makes me wonder...
Just realized I posted this in the srong thread. Oops, sorry.

Because the average guy doesnt clean his gun often enough, leading to jams, which are known to occur in Remington semis. Admittedly, my experience with the 750 is limited, but my experience with the 7400 era guns is not. Ive seen several jam up low use and poor maintenance. Other actions of course can do this too, but the semis do it more.

Mine's a 760 BDL topped with a Redfield Accu-Trac 3x9 no issues, no complaints and no FTE or FTF's. Does what it supposed to do and really we'll too. It's a hunting rifle with a 22" barrel not a long range target gun. The guy complaining about it have probably never held or shot one. Typical here on CGN. f:P:
