remington 783 failure to feed

has anyone else heard of or had any experience with the new Remington 783 rifles failing to feed the bullets from the mag. if so does anyone know of the possible reason/fix for this problem other than the fact Remington arms are failing in the quality department as of late.

I'd try and help you out but seeing as you've already tracked it down to a Remington quality department failure, I don't see any point in giving any further advice!

Not sure on Remington but I did have a Weatherby Detachable mag that wouldn't feed the second round, it was a simple fix, the magazine follower spring just needed a little stretch.

Could there be something in the rear of the mag that is catching on the follower and causing the rear of the follower to not bring the cartridge up to the bolt face smoothly or level?
