Remington 783 Varmint

The new 783 with a 26 inch heavy barrel and a brown laminate stock (Boyds stock maybe) look very good. I know the 783 is not a bad gun at all too.

Hade my eye on it as well .. gun dealer says its on his list ,,, just have to convince myself that I need another rifle , oh well that new model looks real good ,,, if it shoots as well as my budget 783 it will be a winner!

Can anyone confirm the twist rate on the 22-250 version? remington site lists 1in 9 1/8 ? seems kind of odd to me. wondering if its a typo.

Prob typo rem's usually 1/14 or sometimes 1/12

I think they switched the twist of the 22-250 & the 243 by error on Rem's site.
They wrote 1:9 1/8 for the 22 & 1:14 for the 24.

Boyds Pro varmint. I made up some DBM ... but PT&G makes a nice set up. Testing some MDT 12 rd mags.

I have a McGowan I got from you. Shoots very well. As well as any shilen or Krieger I have had. I'm really looking to jump into this platform.
