I just got this gun in the mail. The bolt was removed from the gun and I guess its not cocked because it will not go back in the gun. I figured I would take it apart and clean it first as its really dirty.

Now I can't get it back together :(

I guess I need to compress the firing pin spring to I can thread the the bolt plug back into the bolt.

Help much appreciated

ok, Got the bolt back together. I needed another hand to compress the spring while I inserted the pin to hold the spring compressed while I threaded the bolt plug back on.

Got the bolt in the rifle but it is not working right.

I can open the bolt and close it while in the gun, But its not cocking the bolt. I can't even take the safety off.

problem was I didn't have the firing pin head in the right spot when I stuck it in the rifle. I was using a little allen key for a "pin to keep the firing pin compressed" but wasn't doing it right. Before I knew what I was doing, The firing pin head would hit the safety when I was putting the bolt back in the gun. I had the bolt plug threaded too tight I think and wouldn't let it pass.

Just got the gun in the mail and the bolt was removed and uncocked.

Glad to hear you got it back together.

I did something similar with a Mauser 98 a few years ago, I had a brain fart and turned the bolt in my hand * LOUD CLICK* I soon discovered my Swedish Mausers spoiled me for being better engineered with being easier to take apart and reassemble without the need for a friggen vice lol. My gunsmith had a good giggle and fixed it for free as well as showed me how to fix it myself if I ever did it again. ;)
