I bought one of these from an estate sale a few years ago that a friend was helping finalize. Only took it as it seemed like a good deal. Haven't fired it, just took it home and stuck it away. Recently was wondering about it and figured I'd take the ol girl out for some pictures.

Does anyone have a rough idea of the value this may have? Hoping it's a little more than what I paid for it. I know it is a bit beat up but might have some collector value?

Everything feels good, like it works. Ejector is strong. Bore looks ok.

They are the same gun as the CIL 402, which go for 100-250 depending on guage and condition. The Reminting name on them does not add much to their value, they are not really a collectible. Juse my opinion of course...

I bought one in 28 gauge about 5 years ago for 200$ shipped IIRC. It was in excellent condition. I'm assuming that the reason it was in excellent condition was that POA and POI were drastically different lol everything was factory on it so someone must have bought it back in the 70's and realized it was a lemon so it sat in a closet for 40+ years before hitting the market again and working it's way to me. I was okay with it though because I already had a beat up older one (which was my late mothers). So I used it for parts to fix up the old one and now i get to use that one again.

100–150$ for a 12 ga in the condition yours is in on the up side yours does not have a broken trigger guard or forend spacer assembly which was a very common occurrence on those guns
