Just purchased a Remington 870 synthetic stock version. Took it out to the range for some reason when I fire a round I can't get the round to eject when I pull the pump action back it is stuck after fiddling around with it for a while it will eject out, any one have any answers. Thankd

Not Ejecting or Not Extracting?
If it's not extracting, then ^^^. If it's not ejecting, then there's something wrong/missing/broken with the ejecting spring on the inside left of the action. You can see it when you pull the bolt back. Just use google for a comparison.

By chance were you shooting the cheap winchester shells from wal mart or canadian tire.the medal head on the shell swells and causes them to stick in the chamber.try a better quality shell if this is the case.

It is not extracting and yes I was using the cheap shells from Walmart and Canadian tire any recommendations on certain shells I should be using. Just using this gun to shoot clays and targets.

Try federal top gun or remington gunclub shells if you can find them .they are of compareable price to the trash they sell at wal mart and are of better quality.

The 870 and the economy Winchester shells just don't seem to be compatible. Most other brands of economy shells and higher quality Winchester shells work well.

~ Clean the chamber anyway.

In my experience, many of the Rem Express had slightly tight chambers. You would need to slam the butt on the ground while trying to cycle the slide to extract the empty.
Either warranty repair or a polish (very very carefully) of the chamber was required to get it to work the way it is supposed to.
