Exact wording from TonyNot sure on the wording of that or who you were speaking with, but shorty shotguns can be difficult to get out of the US as the US State department generally doesn't approve the export of them.

The problem there is getting the short barrels themselves.
If someone in Canada was to set up for a run of shorties they would make a killing selling these.
