Remington 870 Express Replacement Barrels ?

As mentioned above, I'm looking for another barrel for my 12ga 870 Express.
I already have the 28 in. Vent Rib and the 20 in. rifled deer barrel.

In light of the crime wave we've been experiencing in the GTA (armed home invasion/car jackings. etc), I've been
actively looking for an 18 to 18.5 inch barrel for my 870. Not having much luck from both US & Canuck sites.
Any suggestions as to where I can find even used barrels ?

Lastly, will using buckshot on the 20in rifled deer barrel damage said barrel ? Just need to know as a "just in case" scenario.
I'm also leery on using slugs and/or my 94's 30-30 for home defense. All hypothetically of course

I’ve had fabulous luck and success purchasing my 870 shorter barrels right here on CGN EE Forums. Many great finds from some super nice folks.

you can buck-shoot out a rifled barrel, but your splatter will look an awfully lot like a hurricane.

Just find one used off here, but be ready to spend 2-350 for one!

E-Bay could be a possible source for a short barrel. Replacement Remington Express 18.5" barrels(Smooth bore, improved cylinder choke), currently listed.

Agreed, they come and go from the EE regularly. There was an 18.5" there a couple days ago, but I just checked and it's sold.

Between here, the forum to postgun classifieds, ebay, and sponsor dealers, it shouldn't take very long to find one.
