Remington 870 Express Tactical Surefire Forend

I've read reviews and conducted my searches, but have yet to yield anything conclusive enough to deter a purchase.

Does the forend in fact not correctly fit the Exp/Tac 18.5" shotgun? Does the forend still have the battery drain issues? Is it considerably uncomfortable?

Looking to hear from current/past owners!

An 870 is an 870. Only difference is tube length.

The foregrip is the same length for all 870's except the MCS and the 8.5 inch guns, all 12.5 and up non-MCS guns use the same 'pump handle'.

I don't like the newer ones for ergo's as much as my pre-led one. Mine also has the lock out so no problem with battery drain

I have been running Surefire forearms since they first came out. Awesome product. But they do add some weight at the muzzle. I also agree with dogzilla...the older ones were more comfortable and not as bulky. But still a first rate unit.
