Hi Guys,

I'm looking to pick up a non-MIM extractor for the 870, remington factory part number F16176

Anyone know who has them in stock?

Thanks!

Reliable Gun is a Remington repair center and I bet Tacord would either have some or know where to get them.

Dlask has Volquartsen Remington 870 extractors. I bought a used 870 and had hard extractions every 16-18 shots. The Volquartsen extractor was an easy swap and ran 60 shells through with no stoppages or hard extractions. Worth the money as it is my camping/canoeing shotgun, where bears and cougars are seen every time we are out. Dlask doesn't sell crap. My 870 has their barrel, single point sling adaptor plate and the previously mentioned Volquartsen extractor. Confidence in your equipment is essential, because let's be honest, you aren't going to drill your significant other on immediate actions for stoppages, you just want a no fail system they can use.

Yup, they do - non-MIM

^correct. The 870P is a good one.

I do also have an 870 Youth Express and while it's a great/smooth gun with ZERO issues, I'd like to upgrade the extractor just in case. Rangview Sports in Newmarket has the Volquartsen (sp?) in stock, but it might be too snazzy for this little 20ga. :) A standard, non-MIM Remington one is fine. Just need to figure out if the one in the 20ga. bolt is the same as the 12. I'm sure Casey @ Tac Ord. will know.
