I was in Wanstalls on Saturday and picked one of these up.

Outstanding service at Wanstalls. Craig spent some time with me showing me some of the shotguns and I had gone in to see this shotgun and ended up buying it with a mesa 6 shell side saddle and a voodoo tactical padded weapon case. Picked up a case of 250 shot and 250 slug and 1k .223 and Craig even helped me cart all ammo out to my truck... Ended up going back and getting the Trijicon Reflex for it after we had mounted it and then taken it off... Decided I wanted it on the walk back to the store to pick up my buddy who was drooling over pistols but hasn't done his course yet :stirthepot2:. I keep sending him pics of rifles off the EE to keep him frothing so he gets his course done lol... :ar15:

I was really pleased with the customer service I received. Can't speak highly enough of it. I have to take a ferry so all in all it ends up being a minimum 5 hour round trip so to get S***ty customer service is unacceptable...

On to the shotgun...
I read the reviews... most people were on the fence... looks were pretty subjective and there seemed to be some question as to comfort from the Magpul Soe stock.

I love it... came with the cheek risers and the reflex required a higher cheek riser... I wasnt a huge fan of the ghost ring sights... more of a personal preference really... I am sure some purists will not run a reflex that big but to each their own....

Got her out to the range on Sunday and put some through her. Love the stock... hand placement and kick were very comfortable... Great grip with ridged areas in all the right places.
Reflex needs zeroing with the slug. After watching the included Magpul Art of the Dynamic Shotgun I can see how non adjustable sights could be a liability to an LEO if the gun isnt zero'd. Quite interesting...

I was really happy with the reflex as well... The only complaint I have is the mount I got, the ta51, interferes with the side saddle... you can see it in the pics... get the arms mount version... I'm fine with it as I have just reversed the speed load and combat load order and I'm okay with that but with the arms mounts you wont have the interference...

Anyways... a really nice shotgun... I really like that its Cerakoted as it will be my Home D/ Safe queen shotgun...
I am curious to see how well the cerakote holds up over time...
May get a mount for flashlight and laser and install an Afg2 on the MOE grip... then she will be done and preside over the safe

Thanks all... as always a pleasure to be on this board!

Thanks Guys

The optic is definately a personal thing... looks a little awkward but gives a really nice sight picture especially with both eyes open...

Shotgun alone is 859 plus tax...

however included is the
stock at 129
2 risers at 2x15
forend at 30
dvd which has some good information value
and of course the cerakote as oem which was something i wanted

has a great feel!

Also come with the Remington Supercell and adaptor on the stock, thats a +?$ option also over the "normal" magpul stock!

Anyways... a really nice shotgun... I really like that its Cerakoted as it will be my Home D/ Safe queen shotgun...

Interesting look. I'm not sure how I feel about it but like that a Cereakoted SG makes it legal for Home D in Canada

No kidding. I wonder if all 870s could be upgraded..?
Could the old short tube be knocked off and the new one piece be threaded in..?

Either way. That's a great SG at a great price!

870 mag tubes are brazed in place, to have it replaced you'd have to send your reciever back to the factory and probably pay at least as much as a new long tube receiver costs.
