Remington 870 Marine Sidesaddle

Anyone know if a 6 shell TacStar will fit the 870 marine magnum without mods? Or is the 4 shell holder better. Just noticed that Russells has lowered the price on the holders to $32.99 for 6 shell; $30.99 for a 4 shot.
Not interested in cutting the handguards or anything else like that...

6 shell.....better get the saw. You could put a police forend on it, then the six shot side saddle would work fine. If not, your cutting or using the four shot side saddle.

pc9, very sweet way to do it....

I ran into the problem this week, ordered a 4 shot sidesaddle from P&D and they sent the 6 shot model...... so going to wait till next payday and get the speedfeed stock I want anyway with the "LE" forend and drop that on with the 6 shot unit.

have you though of getting your black barrel duracoated or other "paint" type product...... they have some that look very similar to stainless and will bring the look of your gun back to a complete stainless unit.

I am saving my Parkerized 14" barrel for either the express model 7 shot or an 870P..... depending on how money is next month.

I would like to find someone who can do a nice nickel finish on the barell so it would match up with the rest of the gun

pc9, contact corlanes in dawson crrek or darrel marsh at backcountry sporting goods in fort st john...... both of them do a faux stainless finish that is identical to the colour of the marine magnum.

I just bought thier last remaining marine magnum last week,,.....

sold my 870P and had enough money to buy 2 shotguns... I would send the whole gun to them and get them to do the magazine cap and the barrel together.
